Which formats can I convert?
The tool reads common MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, Opus, Ogg, and audio-only WebM files when their audio stream can be decoded. It exports MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, or Opus.
Does converting to WAV or FLAC improve sound quality?
No. WAV and FLAC can preserve the sound they receive, but they cannot restore detail already lost in a compressed source such as MP3.
Which format should I choose?
MP3 and M4A are broadly useful for sharing. Opus is efficient for speech. WAV and FLAC suit editing or lossless storage but create larger files.
Is my recording uploaded?
