Your files stay yours.
Your media is processed on your device. We never receive your recordings.
What happens to your files
When you choose a file, your browser reads it locally. Conversion, waveform generation, trimming and fading all happen on your device. Media is not sent to ToAudio, Cloudflare storage or an analytics provider.
Temporary working files exist in browser memory. Replacing a file, cancelling a task or closing the page releases the processing session. Files you download remain wherever you save them. There is no account, upload history or cloud backup.
What your browser downloads
The site downloads an audio processing engine when you first choose a file. That program may be cached by your browser. Downloading the program does not upload your media.
Basic website statistics
ToAudio may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page visits and website performance. This first version does not send conversion events, filenames, local paths, media content or extracted audio to analytics. Hosting providers receive normal connection information when serving pages and program resources.
Google Search Console reports aggregate search visibility and clicks. It is not a media processing service and receives no selected files from this tool.
Your choices
You can use the tools without signing up. No optional analytics identifier is stored by ToAudio. We do not use advertising trackers. Keep your original recording: closing the tab will not preserve your editing session.
