Your clip is decoded and transcribed in the browser. The model download contains no recording data.
Video transcription questions
Up to 100 MiB and 2 minutes per file. The video needs an audio track with English speech.
Does the video need an audio track?
Yes. A silent video has no speech to transcribe, so this tool will explain that an audio track is missing.
Does it add subtitles to the picture?
No. It downloads an editable SRT subtitle file. Burning captions into the video is not part of this tool.
Are the timestamps exact?
They are model estimates. Review and adjust the text in each segment before using the subtitles.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. The video stays in your browser. Only the speech model files are downloaded.
