Record this script and add music →Keep spoken copy, production cues and timing in separate lines. This makes a radio advert script easier to record and revise.
- Brief
- Write the business name, audience, one message, one action and target length above the script.
- VOICE
- Put only spoken words in the voice line. Keep pronunciation notes and delivery directions separate.
- MUSIC / SFX
- Describe the music mood and any sound cues. Keep effects below the words that need to be understood.
- Timing
- Read aloud and time the actual recording. Shorten the copy instead of cutting off the final word.
- Review
- Check the business name, date, offer and next step. Replace every fictional detail before publishing.
Turn a script into a short audio advert
- Replace the fictional business, offer, location and date with your own accurate details.
- Read aloud, record your voice, and check that the whole message fits the target. Leave time for listeners to understand the next step.
- Open the local mixer, record or upload your voice, choose music, and preview the balance before exporting WAV or MP3.

A FEW GOOD ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions
Up to 100 MiB and 20 minutes per file. Short recordings work best on phones.
Are these sample radio spots or finished audio recordings?+
These are original English radio advert script examples, not recorded sample radio spots. The businesses and offers are fictional. Copy a script, adapt it, record your voice, and mix it with music in ToAudio.
What is the difference between a radio spot and a jingle?+
These templates are spoken advertisements. A sung jingle requires music and singing creation; the local recording mixer does not generate a sung jingle.
Can I make a free DJ intro or DJ name drop?+
You can record a spoken DJ name or introduction, add your own music or a ToAudio music bed, and export the mix without signing in. This is a recording workflow, not voice cloning or an automatic DJ drop generator.
Can I make a 60-second radio advert?+
You can use the script format for a longer recording, but the current mixer exports target lengths of 10, 15 or 30 seconds. A 60-second finished spot needs a longer editing workflow. The mixer never cuts off speech to claim a shorter result.
Can I generate the voice from text?+
Text-to-voice generation is not publicly available yet. For now, record in the browser or upload your recording, add music and export WAV or MP3 locally.
