HOW IT WORKS

How to change audio BPM

Use BPM values you already know. Tempo adjustment runs locally and keeps the pitch.

  1. 01

Choose a local MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC file up to 50 MiB and 10 minutes.

  2. 02

Enter the original BPM and target BPM. The target can be between half and twice the original; the tool shows the speed and expected duration.

  3. 03

Select Change BPM, compare the original and adjusted audio, then download MP3 or WAV.

A FEW GOOD ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Audio-only files up to 50 MiB and 10 minutes. Tempo changes from 0.5× to 2×.

How do I change a song’s BPM?

Choose your audio file and enter its original BPM and your target BPM. ToAudio changes the tempo by the target divided by the original, while preserving pitch. For example, 120 to 90 BPM plays at 75% speed and lasts about one third longer.

Does this tool automatically find the BPM?

No. Enter the original BPM yourself, using a value you already know or measured elsewhere. The displayed target describes the requested adjustment; the tool does not detect or verify the song’s actual BPM.

Will the pitch change?

The tempo filter preserves pitch rather than raising or lowering the notes. Large tempo changes can still introduce audible artifacts. Compare the result with the original before saving.

Which files and tempo changes are supported?

Use audio-only MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC files up to 50 MiB and 10 minutes. Targets from 0.5 to 2 times the original BPM are supported. Video, online links and protected files are not supported. MP3 output uses 192 kbps; WAV is larger.

Are my files uploaded or do I need an account?

No account or payment is needed. Audio is processed in your browser and is not uploaded. First use needs an internet connection to load the engine. Keep the tab open until processing and saving finish.
